Soulcraft™ Initiation Guides and Wild Mind Practitioners
Animas Guides:
Animas Guides are Soulcraft Initiation Guides and/or Wild Mind Practitioners who have additionally been admitted to the Animas Valley Institute Guides Guild and are authorized to guide Animas-produced programs. The Guides Guild is equivalent to a professional college and, as such, sets and upholds standards around program delivery, risk management, professional ethics, conflict resolution, and guide accountability as well as ongoing training and guide development. Joining the Guides Guild entails a detailed application and review process along with a structured period of professional supervision.
Soulcraft Initiation Guides:
The Soul Initiation Guides in this Directory are agents of regenerative culture who have completed the Animas Valley Institute’s Soulcraft Apprenticeship and Initiation Program (SAIP), a graduate-degree-equivalent training in the skills and practices of nature-based soul-initiation guiding. This extensive and immersive training typically requires a time investment of 4-6 years, sometimes more, during which trainees learn Animas’ foundational models and methods. Each SAIP graduate has completed over 500 hours of in-the-field, supervised guiding, both 1:1 and in groups.
Wild Mind Practitioners:
Wild Mind Practitioners are human development professionals who have successfully completed the Animas Valley Institute’s Wild Mind Training Program (WMTP), a graduate-certificate-equivalent training in our foundational models and methods to support Self-healing, the cultivation of wholeness, and the incomplete developmental tasks of childhood and early adolescence. Before admission to the WMTP, they already had the qualifications and experience necessary to practice in fields such as psychotherapy, clinical psychology, professional counseling, ministry, life coaching, ecotherapy, teaching, and youth work and outdoor education. The Wild Mind Training Program generally requires an intensive commitment of 2 years or more.
Please note, this directory serves to list the individuals who have graduated from either SAIP or WMTP. Being listed here is not necessarily an endorsement of their work, although we stand behind the quality of our training programs.
