Mentoring With Guides of the Animas Valley Institute

Animas has trained guides who are delighted to offer 1-1 mentorship support for your nature-based, full-spectrum human development. Soul Initiation Guides and Wild Mind Guides are distinguished by their particular realms of focus, as described below. All Animas guides are nature-based underworld guides, trained in both the Nature-Based Soulcentric Wheel of Human Development and in the nature-based Wild Mind Map of the Human Psyche as developed by Bill Plotkin and the Animas Valley Institute.

During mentoring sessions, these guides may include approaches such as dreamwork, guided deep imagination, somatic processes, shadow work, Council, practices for the deepening of animate consciousness, and a variety of other invitations.

Wild Mind Guides support the cultivation of your innate human wholeness, the acquisition and development of the skills of Self-healing, and the major life passage we call eco-awakening (the transition from egocentrism to ecocentrism). The cultivation of wholeness is a paradigm for human development that contrasts with psychotherapy and its focus on healing (the elimination or reduction of psychopathology). The embodiment of wholeness is a major life goal in its own right, but it also enables a more potent form of healing that we call Self-healing, which is sourced in the capacities inherent in our innate wholeness, capacities we can access and cultivate.

Soul Initiation Guides likewise tend the cultivation of wholeness, Self-healing, and eco-awakening, and are, in addition, trained and experienced in guiding you on the long, challenging, and ecstatic journey of soul initiation and in particular through the Descent to Soul, the portal to a true adulthood, the life of a visionary artisan of cultural renaissance.
